Role Details

We are currently working side by side with a very successful business that provide support to the automotive industry, specifically manufacturer repair networks in the UK.

They currently require an Bodyshop Paint Trainer to deliver training courses on various aspects of the paint product manufacturer that they commercially support.

The training courses will be centred around new techniques and introductions to new products to enhance the performance for the end user. Supporting the Training Manager you will be presenting and teaching to Bodyshop Field Based Technicians empowering them to maximise their use of the products.

This role is a fixed 12 month contract with the option of going permanent. The Training Centre is based in Hertfordshire.

Who we are looking for:

  • For this role, it is essential that you have a solid foundation on how the bodyshop network operates, this includes the processes, people and challenges.
  • If you have worked as a Bodyshop Team Leader or Supervisor. Or even as a Vehicle Damage Assessor (VDA) this would be ideally suited to you. Especially if you are looking to do something a bit different.
  • It is not essential to have training experience, as you will be given a robust and thorough walk through all the material you will be training.
  • What is essential is to have an engaging, passionate and flexible approach.

A little bit more about the role:

This is an exciting role, as there are many innovations and new technologies coming out, all of which need to be shared with those using the products.

One of the hot topics is around rising costs, so one of the new technologies introduced has been ‘fast cure low cost’ products which increases profit, lowers energy costs whilst still delivering a high-quality finish.

What is on offer?

They are looking to offer a flat basic salary between £30,000 to £35,000, depending on experience. They also offer a contributory pension scheme, 28 days holiday including bank holidays and business mileage.

This will be working a 37.5 hour week; Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm.
