.Job Title: MOT Tester / Tyre Fitter
Location: Croydon, Surrey
Salary: £26,000 – £31,500 plus Bonus and Benefits
We are currently seeking an experienced MOT Tester / Tyre Fitter to join our client's dealership located in Croydon, Surrey. We are looking for a skilled individual who is competent, confident and well-versed in undertaking Class IV MOT tests and fitting tyres to manufacturer standards.
Reporting to the Aftersales Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that all Class IV MOT tests are conducted in adherence to strict DVSA/Government guidelines. You will also examine and fit vehicle tyres to manufacturer specifications and maximise tyre and steering alignment sales opportunities. In addition, you will be expected to maintain a high level of housekeeping standards in the workshop and observe safe working practices for yourself and others.
To be considered for this position, you must hold the relevant MOT Tester qualification, have manufacturer tyre fitting training and a relevant City & Guilds, BTEC or NVQ accreditation. Additionally, you should possess good organisational and planning skills, competency in numeracy, literacy and IT, and demonstrate energy and enthusiasm. A full UK driving licence and a smart appearance are also essential.
This is a full-time role from Monday to Friday, offering a competitive salary of £26,000 to £30,000 per annum depending on experience.
