Our client, a prestigious passenger car dealership in Watford, Hertfordshire, is on the hunt for an experienced individual to join their team as a Service Technician. You will be responsible for repairing and servicing a range of quality vehicles to the highest standards, ensuring customer satisfaction and repeat business.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities will include receiving work from the workshop controller and carrying out related checks, administration and protection routines, as well as reporting on any additional repair requirements. You will also need to make written and verbal reports on service and repair activity to the workshop controller in order to obtain authorisation and complete all administrative procedures relating to service and repair work.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to be a Level 3 qualified vehicle technician with excellent problem-solving skills and strong attention to detail. A strong customer service focus is also essential, as you will need to be able to communicate technical information to a non-technical audience. Outstanding organisation and time management skills are a must, as you will be expected to work to deadlines.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate will enjoy a competitive base salary of £30,000 – £36,000 per annum, plus a bonus and benefits package, including further training and personal development such as Electric Vehicle (EV) Training levels 1-4.
