Role Details
Our Client is seeking to appoint an experienced automotive Quality Controller to join their service team in Doha. Responsibility for pre-testing, road testing following repairs, diagnosing faults and setting and maintaining quality standards. Identify areas of quality improvement. Improving service processes.
The Role
- Carry out quality checks on vehicles before delivery to customers.
- Recommend additional work to fulfill the customers’ requirements as written in
- the job card.
- Actively upsell through proper vehicle appraisal.
- Liaise with the Service Advisor / customer and make them aware of his
- findings.
- Conduct road tests with the customer where appropriate to identify specific
- problems.
- Complete road test quality control inspection forms.
- Communicate to the appropriate Foreman/Workshop Manager of your findings and recommended solutions.
- Ensure whilst on road test that the vehicle is driven in an appropriate and
- safe manner.
- Monitor, discuss and recommend solutions on quality shortfalls.
Ideal Candidate
- Minimum 3 years experience with a premium or luxury automotive brand
- Excellent technical background and communication skills.
- Valid Qatari / GCC driving license.
- Reporting, computer and DMS proficiency.
- Proficiency in spoken and written English, Arabic is an added advantage.
The Package
- Basic Salary QR 6,000 – 7,000 per month
- Accommodation will be provided by the company OR Accommodation Allowance.
- Transportation will be provided by the company OR Transport Allowance.
