Role Details
My client is looking for a Workshop Controller to join their very busy team based in Basingstoke, Hampshire.
This will be the perfect breeding ground for someone looking to progress their career and eventually step up into management.
The Role
You will be managing a decent sized team of Technicians including Apprentices, ensuring the workshop is running as smoothly as possible. This will include monitoring the efficiency of the Technicians and profitability is being maximised using any and all materials, equipment and labour resources.
What They Need in You
- You will need to have proven leadership; someone the team can aspire to become like. Therefore, experience as a Workshop Controller or Workshop Manager is desirable.
- They feel it is all about driving the team to deliver, a big part of this is conducting regular staff reviews. This is something you will need to be familiar with also.
- Someone who is dedicated to getting the job done and willing to the extra mile for the team and customers.
The Package
They will be offering the successful candidate a basic salary between £27,000 – £29,000 with additional bonus taking your OTE £35,000 plus a Company Car.
You will be required to work Monday to Friday 8am – 6pm, with an hour for lunch. Saturday’s on a rota basis 1 in 4.
