Role Details

Our client, a prominent player in the automotive industry within Saudi Arabia, is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their leadership team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience within the automotive sector, preferably with a large dealer group or distributor, and a strong working knowledge of the GCC market. Proficiency in Autoline software is a must for this role.

What you’ll be doing

  • Oversee all financial aspects of the automotive business operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial planning, and analysis
  • Provide strategic financial leadership and guidance to support business growth initiatives and optimise operational efficiency
  • Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and best practices
  • Collaborate closely with executive leadership to drive financial performance and achieve strategic objectives
  • Lead financial reporting processes and provide accurate and timely financial information to stakeholders
  • Manage relationships with financial institutions, investors, and other external partners
  • Mentor and develop finance team members to enhance their skills and capabilities

Here’s how the role aligns with your profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field; MBA or CPA preferred
  • Extensive experience (10+ years) in senior financial management roles within the automotive industry
  • Proven track record of success in financial leadership positions, preferably with a large dealer group or distributor.
  • In-depth knowledge of GCC automotive market dynamics and industry trends
  • Strong understanding and working knowledge of Autoline software and its applications
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships at all levels
  • Demonstrated leadership ability and a collaborative management style
