About the Role
- An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced automotive leader to head a successful franchised dealership.
- We are seeking an established JLR Certified Head of Business / Dealer Principal or an ambitious Sales Manager ready to step into their first dealership leadership role. You will lead all aspects of the business, driving commercial performance, operational excellence, customer satisfaction, and team development.
- This is a relocation opportunity for a commercially focused leader with a proven track record of success within a Jaguar Land Rover retail environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the dealership, providing strategic direction across all departments
- Deliver sustainable growth in sales, profitability, and market share
- Inspire, develop, and support departmental managers and their teams
- Drive exceptional customer satisfaction across sales and aftersales
- Ensure compliance with Jaguar Land Rover standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies
- Monitor business performance and implement action plans to achieve objectives
- Build strong relationships with Jaguar Land Rover and key stakeholders
- Foster a high-performance culture focused on accountability, teamwork, and customer excellence
Essential Requirements
- Current or recent JLR Head of Business or JLR Certified Sales Manager accreditation
- Proven success delivering outstanding sales and financial performance within a franchised automotive dealership
- Strong leadership experience managing multiple departments and large teams
- Excellent commercial and financial acumen
- Demonstrable success in achieving manufacturer and dealership targets
- Outstanding communication and people management skills
- Full UK driving licence
- Willingness to relocate
Desirable
- Experience as a Head of Business, Dealer Principal, General Manager, or similar senior leadership role
- Experience with premium automotive brands
- Strong understanding of aftersales operations and F&I performance.
