We are conducting a highly confidential search for an accomplished Managing Director to assume full executive responsibility for a well-established automotive importer and distributor operating within the United Kingdom. This is a rare career opportunity for a proven automotive leader with the vision, commercial acumen and executive presence to lead a complex national business in a rapidly evolving market.
Reporting to the relevant regional leadership, you will define and deliver the company's strategic direction across every aspect of the business. You will be accountable for commercial performance, market share, profitability, retailer network development, customer experience, brand reputation and organisational capability, whilst fostering strong relationships with shareholders, retail partners, government bodies and other key stakeholders.
The successful candidate will possess an outstanding track record of executive leadership within an automotive OEM, importer or national sales company. You will have demonstrated success in leading large, multi-disciplined teams, delivering sustainable commercial growth and navigating the challenges presented by electrification, digital retailing, changing consumer behaviour and an increasingly competitive marketplace.
This appointment demands exceptional strategic judgement, inspirational leadership, financial expertise and the credibility to influence at Board and international level. Experience of working within a matrix organisation and collaborating across global functions will be essential.
