Motor Vehicle Technician Vacancy near Heathrow, for an experienced Technician/mechanic who enjoys problem solving, working on a variety of products and vehicles and flexible with working shift patterns.
This role includes working weekly rotating day shift patterns, ranging from 5am starts and 11pm finishes.
The Role
Working in a busy workshop, where each motor vehicle needs to return to operation as soon as possible. Servicing; diagnosing; repairing and road testing a variety of Motor vehicles and Hydraulic systems; using your experience as a qualified Motor Vehicle Technician.
This role will suit someone who enjoys old skool mechanics, problem solving, working on a variety of mechanical and electrical products and wanting a change of working environment.
Able to have a flexible approach to the hours worked? Then this is the role for you! As they offer weekly rotating day shift patterns, ranging from 5am starts and 11pm finishes and 3 days and 4 days off in between weekly shifts. You can plan ahead, as the rota is arranged in advance.
The Ideal Candidate
Are you an experienced Petrol and Diesel Vehicle Technician who may also be trained in Electric Vehicles?
Proven experience of working in a busy workshop and Passenger cars and Commercial vehicles, Diesel and Petrol Engines; knowledge of hydraulic systems will be advantageous.
Ability to troubleshoot; repair and service; Diesel, Petrol, Electric engines; as well as mechanical and hydraulic systems.
Able to diagnose vehicles and equipment; without the use of onboard Diagnostic (OBD) Tools.
Will have a Full, UK Driving Licence and Eligible to work in the UK; (they do not Sponsor).
Salary
Basic starting Salary: £49,000 increasing to £53,000

Hours
Working 8 ½ hour shifts; ranging from 5am to 11pm; Monday to Sunday; 3 days off and 4 days off between weekly shift rota, with advanced notice of the Rota.
