HCP is partnering with a franchised dealership in the Croydon area to recruit an experienced Sales Manager.
This opportunity is suited to an automotive professional looking to join a high-performing retail operation with a strong team culture and opportunities for career progression. The successful candidate will play an important role in driving department performance, developing the sales team and delivering high standards of customer service.
The Role
- Support the day-to-day operation of the new vehicle sales department
- Work closely with senior management to maximise sales performance, profitability and customer satisfaction
- Lead by example, coaching and supporting Sales Executives
- Support the achievement of new vehicle, finance and customer satisfaction objectives
- Assist with deal structuring, enquiry management and vehicle ordering
- Drive customer retention and repeat business through strong customer service
- Maintain compliance, administration and manufacturer standards
- Create a positive and customer-focused sales environment
About You
- Previous experience within a franchised dealership is essential
- Currently working as a Sales Manager, Transaction Manager, Business Manager or Senior Sales Executive with management skills
- Proven ability to lead, motivate and develop a sales team
- Strong commercial awareness and understanding of dealership performance
- Experience supporting finance and insurance performance
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A professional, positive and proactive approach
- The Right to Work in the UK
- Full UK driving licence

Working Hours
8:30am – 6pm Monday to Friday
8:30am – 5:30pm Saturday
10:am – 4pm Sunday (1 in 3 rota)
Scheduled day off during the week
