Service Advisor
Cambridge, Franchised Passenger Car Dealership
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Service Advisor to join a successful franchised passenger car dealership in Cambridge.

This role is ideally suited to a customer-focused automotive professional with previous dealership experience who enjoys delivering excellent customer service while working as part of a supportive and collaborative team.
The Role
As the first point of contact within the service department, you will manage customer bookings, coordinate workshop communication and ensure customers are kept fully informed throughout the repair and servicing process.
Working closely with both customers and workshop teams, you will help deliver an outstanding customer journey while supporting departmental productivity and aftersales performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist customers visiting the service department
- Accurately manage job cards, customer records and service documentation
- Advise customers on servicing, repairs and associated costs
- Liaise with workshop teams regarding vehicle progress and repair updates
- Keep customers informed throughout the day on vehicle status and completion times
- Recommend additional work in line with Vehicle Health Check recommendations
- Obtain customer authorisation for additional repairs and upsell opportunities
- Organise vehicle handover, invoicing and collection processes
- Deliver exceptional customer service and maintain high CSI standards
Candidate Requirements

- Previous experience as a Service Advisor within a franchised automotive dealership
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organisational and administrative capability
- The ability to work efficiently within a busy aftersales department
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach
- Experience upselling additional products and services advantageous
- A team-focused and professional attitude
