Role Details

Our client is a prominent automotive dealer group in Saudi Arabia, currently undergoing a significant growth phase following recent brand acquisitions. As part of their expansion strategy, they are seeking to appoint a commercially driven Sales Director to scale operations and strengthen market presence across the Kingdom.

The Role

  • The Sales Director will be responsible for developing and executing the national sales strategy, driving volume growth, profitability, and market share performance. A key focus of the role will be expanding and optimising the dealer network footprint, ensuring strong coverage, operational excellence, and consistent brand standards across all regions.
  • This is a high-impact leadership position requiring strong automotive retail expertise, network development experience, and the ability to lead large, multi-site sales teams within a fast-paced, performance-driven environment.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing sales team to consistently exceed revenue, market share, and profitability targets.
  • Define and execute the commercial strategy, driving sustainable new business growth across retail, fleet, and emerging sales channels.
  • Identify and capitalise on new market opportunities to maximise revenue generation and network performance.
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing, Operations, and Product teams to enhance brand visibility and drive customer acquisition.
  • Oversee sales performance management, including forecasting, budgeting, pipeline development, and the delivery of actionable market insights to senior leadership.
  • Foster a performance-driven sales culture centred on accountability, operational excellence, and superior customer experience.

Candidate Profile

  • Fluency in Arabic is essential, with the ability to operate effectively in a bilingual commercial environment.
  • Current experience in Saudi Arabia is highly desirable; broader Middle East experience is required.
  • Strategic mindset with the ability to translate vision into hands-on execution and measurable results.
  • Proven track record of managing multi-site sales operations, driving performance across geographically dispersed teams.
  • Demonstrated success in delivering revenue growth, market expansion, and network development within a competitive automotive environment.
  • Strong leadership capability with experience building high-performance, accountable sales cultures.
